What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect the information you type in: your name, phone number, email address, and your message. If you tell us about your household, income, health, or business in that message, we receive that too. You choose how much to share.
When you call or email us directly, we keep a record of that conversation so we can follow up.
We do not collect payment information on this website. Insurance premiums are paid directly to the carrier, and partner services bill through their own systems.
How we use it
We use the information you share for two purposes. First, to respond to you. Second, to prepare quotes or options you asked about, which may mean sending your details to an insurance carrier or partner so they can price a policy or review an application.
We may also send you a follow-up note about the topic you asked about. You can ask us to stop at any time.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the carriers or partner companies you choose to apply with. For example, if you ask for a life insurance quote, the carrier needs your details to price it. If you ask about business funding, health benefits, or a legal plan, the partner that provides that service receives what it needs to help you.
Those companies handle your information under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them before applying.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade contact lists. We do not share your information with advertisers.
We may disclose information if a law, court order, or regulator requires it, or to protect the safety of a person.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use basic analytics to understand which pages visitors read and how they arrived. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. The site also stores small preferences in your browser, such as whether you have dismissed a notice. You can block cookies in your browser settings without losing access to the site.

How long we keep it
We keep contact form submissions and related notes for as long as needed to respond to you and to meet insurance record-keeping requirements under California law. If you become a client, we keep policy records for the period the law and the carrier require.
Your rights as a California resident
The California Consumer Privacy Act gives California residents specific rights over personal information held by covered businesses. Even where the law may not strictly apply to a practice of our size, we honor these requests as a matter of course.

- Right to delete: ask us to delete the personal information we hold, subject to legal record-keeping requirements.
- Right to correct: ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing: we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
How to request access or deletion
Email cheri@ascendfinancialwellnessgroup.com with the subject line "Privacy request," or call (916) 597-0314. Tell us what you would like us to do. We will confirm your identity by matching the details you provide against what we have on file, then respond within 45 days. If we cannot delete something because a law requires us to keep it, we will tell you what and why.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will remove it.
Security
The contact form opens a message in your own email app rather than storing anything on this website. We limit access to your information to the people who need it to help you. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every possible breach, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
